We design websites the way cobblers custom-make boots, fitting each site to the unique shape of its business or non-profit organization. In many cases this means that we develop an "identity package" of copy and graphics.

We believe, right down to our toenails, in the following principles:

  • In graphics, as in life, simplicity is paramount.
  • Easy site navigation is essential.
  • Special effects are usually a bad idea, and include animation, background music and any technology that requires your visitor to download software or makes the site's design more important than its contents.
  • Hire a professional. Our unofficial business slogan is, "Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should do it." Flee from do-it-yourself website building kits and sons or nephews with too much free time.
  • Avoid at all costs designing by committee.
  • Let your mother or elderly uncle test-drive your site. If s/he can get through it, it is likely that anyone can.

We encourage all our prospective clients to visit some of the websites we've built and see for yourself the kind of work we do. The sites on our portfolio page are hyperlinked to make your research easier.

Are you ready to see our work? Now's a good time!
